Short version: we use what you send us to quote your wire, and nothing else.

What we collect

Only what you type into a quote form or send us by phone, text or email: your name, phone number, email address, the location of the material, and whatever you tell us about the wire itself. We do not require an account and there is nothing to log into.

How the forms work

Quote forms on this site are delivered to our email inbox through a third-party form relay service. Your submission passes through that provider in order to reach us. We do not store form submissions in a database on this site — this is a static site with no server-side application behind it.

What we do with it

We use it to price your wire, ask follow-up questions, arrange pickup and pay you. We do not sell, rent or trade your information. We do not send marketing newsletters. If you stop responding, we stop contacting you.

Cookies and tracking

This site runs no JavaScript, sets no cookies of its own and embeds no advertising or social tracking pixels. Our web server keeps standard access logs containing IP address, requested URL, timestamp and user agent, which is ordinary operational logging.

Retention

Quote correspondence stays in our email for as long as it is commercially useful. Purchase records, including bills of sale, are retained as long as required for tax and metal-transaction recordkeeping in the applicable state.

Your requests

Children

This is a business-to-business scrap and surplus site. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes we will replace this page. There is no version history to consult; the page you are reading is current.
