01You Are Paid Before It Moves

Funds change hands before a single reel leaves your property. There is no consignment and no waiting on a downstream resale.

02No Sorting Or Stripping

You are never asked to sort, measure, strip or re-spool anything. Our team grades the material from photos and our own inspection.

03We Cover Freight and Loading

Trucks, forklifts, reel handling and pallet wrapping are billed to us. That cost is already priced into the offer you receive.

04Mixed Lots Are Welcome

Full reels, partial reels, boxed coils, loose cut-offs and several different constructions on one skid are all normal to us.

Cable is worth buying because new cable has lead times and volatile pricing. When a contractor needs a specific construction at a specific size and the mill is quoting weeks out, serviceable surplus becomes genuinely valuable. That demand is what we price against, and it applies across the range: building wire, teck and armoured, tray cable, portable power cable, medium voltage shielded cable, aluminum feeder and utility conductor.

Condition matters less than most sellers expect. Reels that have sat in a yard for years, jackets with surface dirt or fading, loose coils, partial reels with an unknown remaining footage: none of that disqualifies a load. What matters is that the conductor is intact and the print legend or the tag still tells us what the material is.

We also buy cable that has no resale future, priced on copper and aluminum content. The reason to call before you scrap is simple: sellers routinely dumpster reels we would have paid several times scrap value for, and that decision cannot be reversed once the insulation is off.

Cable we buy regularly

  • Full and partial reels of THHN, THWN-2 and XHHW-2 building wire in copper and aluminum.
  • MC, AC and armoured teck cable pulled from cancelled or completed jobs.
  • Tray cable, control cable and instrumentation cable off process and industrial work.
  • SO, SOOW and portable power cable from rental fleets and entertainment inventory.
  • Medium voltage shielded cable, 5kV through 35kV, on the original reels.
  • URD, triplex, quadruplex and bare utility conductor from utility and line contractor surplus.

What happens after you accept

We confirm the pickup window against your schedule, send our own truck and crew, and pay you before anything moves. You do not need to sort by size, weigh anything, wrap the reels or stage them at a dock. If the material is behind a locked gate or up on a job site with limited access, tell us and we will bring the right equipment rather than asking you to move it for us.

Loose coils, damaged reels and mixed pallets are normal and we plan for them. Our crew wraps and loads to keep long lengths continuous, because continuous length is most of what we are paying you for.

Questions sellers ask us

Straight answers

Do you charge anything to quote or to pick the wire up?

No. Quoting is free and removal is our cost. If you accept our number, nothing comes out of your pocket at any stage.

How quickly can this happen?

A number usually comes back the same day you send photos. Pickup is typically within one to two weeks, and faster when you have a yard clearance or lease deadline driving it.

What if I only have a few partial reels?

That is still worth a call. Small quantities are frequently best combined into a single lot, and we buy partials and cut lengths routinely rather than only taking full reels.

Do you buy wire in every state?

Yes, all 50 states and the District of Columbia. We stage freight regionally, so your location affects our scheduling rather than your price.
