01You Are Paid Before It Moves

Funds change hands before a single reel leaves your property. There is no consignment and no waiting on a downstream resale.

02No Sorting Or Stripping

You are never asked to sort, measure, strip or re-spool anything. Our team grades the material from photos and our own inspection.

03We Cover Freight and Loading

Trucks, forklifts, reel handling and pallet wrapping are billed to us. That cost is already priced into the offer you receive.

04Mixed Lots Are Welcome

Full reels, partial reels, boxed coils, loose cut-offs and several different constructions on one skid are all normal to us.

Surplus cable accumulates for predictable reasons. A job was overbought on purpose to avoid running short. A project was cancelled after the material shipped. A design change left the wrong size on the reel. A standardisation programme moved a shop from copper to aluminum feeder and stranded the old inventory. A supply house carried stock that stopped moving. In each case the material is functionally new and the owner is paying to store it.

This is the material we pay the most for, and it is also the material most often written off internally as worthless because it has been on the books for years. If you have mill-tagged reels sitting in a warehouse or a laydown yard, that is real money on a pallet, not clutter.

We buy surplus in single reels and in bulk. For supply houses and contractors clearing inventory, we will quote an entire lot as one number and take everything in one pickup, including the odd sizes and the partials that are hard to sell individually.

Surplus situations we buy from

  • Cancelled projects with cable already delivered to site.
  • Job overbuys and the leftover reels at the end of a large pull.
  • Warehouse inventory stranded by a standardisation change.
  • Electrical supply house stock that has stopped moving.
  • Contractor laydown yards being cleared at the end of a job.
  • Utility, municipal and institutional surplus programmes.

What happens after you accept

We confirm the pickup window against your schedule, send our own truck and crew, and pay you before anything moves. You do not need to sort by size, weigh anything, wrap the reels or stage them at a dock. If the material is behind a locked gate or up on a job site with limited access, tell us and we will bring the right equipment rather than asking you to move it for us.

Loose coils, damaged reels and mixed pallets are normal and we plan for them. Our crew wraps and loads to keep long lengths continuous, because continuous length is most of what we are paying you for.

Questions sellers ask us

Straight answers

Do you charge anything to quote or to pick the wire up?

No. Quoting is free and removal is our cost. If you accept our number, nothing comes out of your pocket at any stage.

How quickly can this happen?

A number usually comes back the same day you send photos. Pickup is typically within one to two weeks, and faster when you have a yard clearance or lease deadline driving it.

What if I only have a few partial reels?

That is still worth a call. Small quantities are frequently best combined into a single lot, and we buy partials and cut lengths routinely rather than only taking full reels.

Do you buy wire in every state?

Yes, all 50 states and the District of Columbia. We stage freight regionally, so your location affects our scheduling rather than your price.
