What we look for in overstock & cancelled order wire
This is the distributor and supply house category. Wire that was ordered for a job that never broke ground, stock that has aged past the return window, discontinued colors and constructions, and inventory that came along with an acquisition and no longer fits the branch's mix. It is all perfectly good material sitting on racks earning nothing.
We buy it by the pallet and by the truckload, and we are comfortable with mixed lots. A skid holding nine different constructions in eleven partial reels is completely normal to us. We do not need it sorted, counted precisely or organized before we quote, though a rough inventory list speeds up the number.
Discretion is available if it matters. Some distributors do not want it publicly known that they are liquidating stock, and we can handle a purchase quietly, pick up with an unmarked truck and keep the transaction between us.
