Funds change hands before a single reel leaves your property. There is no consignment and no waiting on a downstream resale.
You are never asked to sort, measure, strip or re-spool anything. Our team grades the material from photos and our own inspection.
Trucks, forklifts, reel handling and pallet wrapping are billed to us. That cost is already priced into the offer you receive.
Full reels, partial reels, boxed coils, loose cut-offs and several different constructions on one skid are all normal to us.
What we do
We buy surplus wire from the people who end up owning it by accident: electrical contractors with a container of leftovers from three finished jobs, distributors sitting on overstock and cancelled orders, plant maintenance departments after a capital project, demolition crews pulling copper out of a building, and liquidators with unsold reels. In almost every case the wire has been sitting long enough to become an annoyance.
Our position in that transaction is simple. We pay you upfront, before anything moves. We do not ask you to sort the pile, measure footage, re-reel partials or drag reels out to a dock. Loading, reel handling, wrapping and freight are our cost and our responsibility.
Why we stay narrow
Because pricing surplus wire well requires knowing what a specific size and insulation type is worth to a contractor who needs it next week and does not want to pay list at the counter. That knowledge does not generalize. A dealer who buys every kind of surplus has to price conservatively; a scrap yard prices by the pound because it has no resale channel at all.
Narrowing to one product family is what lets us commit to a firm cash number the same day and still absorb the freight. It also means we will tell you honestly when a lot genuinely is scrap-grade, because we have no incentive to pretend otherwise.
